Privacy statement
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This website is a factual record, maintained by the van der Zwaan family. We treat visitors' data with the same restraint we apply to the site's content.
Who is responsible
Controller: Van der Zwaan family. Contact for privacy questions and requests: [email protected].
What data is processed
Without your consent: none. This site sets no cookies and loads no measurement scripts until you explicitly agree via the cookie banner. If you choose "Decline", or make no choice, nothing is loaded and nothing is measured.
With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and broadly from which country or region. This runs without any advertising features: Google Signals is off, no advertising services are linked, and data is not used for ad personalisation and is not sold.
The site's hosting provider (Cloudflare) additionally processes technical data (such as IP addresses) to the extent necessary to serve the site securely. This is inherent to visiting any website.
Legal basis
The legal basis for the analytics measurement is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw that consent at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
Retention
Analytics data in Google Analytics is retained for a maximum of 14 months. Your cookie choice is remembered for a maximum of 6 months in a first-party cookie (cookie-consent); after that we ask again.
Processors
For the analytics measurement, Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) acts as processor; Google's data processing terms have been accepted. Hosting is provided by Cloudflare, Inc.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, the right to restrict and object to processing, and the right to withdraw your consent. Requests can be sent to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
If the way the site works changes, this statement will be updated. This page will be updated as soon as more is known.
