This week, the family approached an independent, professional care broker (mantelzorgmakelaar) — a specialist in arranging and organising care, navigating the relevant laws and regulations, and the practical side of care at home. A first consultation is scheduled for early next week.
Its purpose is the same as everything on this site: the road back home, and rebuilding the care and support that surrounded Trudy there until 6 July — the home care, her regular private help, the informal caregivers from her own circle.
The circle stands ready
The two regular caregivers who visited Trudy on 27 July have confirmed once again that they will sign their statements whenever needed — without reservation. Her house remains cared for, unchanged: the post is brought in, the plants are tended. Everything is waiting for her.
